New Zealand

In 2023 a handful of mates and I headed off for a three-week adventure through New Zealand. We began in Christchurch before heading down to Queenstown, then up and across the Cook Strait to the windy city of Wellington. By the end of the three-week experience I had come to one conclusion- there wasn’t a beautiful thing New Zealand couldn’t provide. Rolling hills, snowy peaks, magical forests, a rich indigenous culture, everything. At one stage a little wren followed us for four hours up a mountain and played with us at the top. New Zealand sent me home a different man and if I don’t get back there in this life I hope my ashes somehow float across to those shores.
