Will & Lara

Two and a half hours North of Brisbane Airport lies a little rural town called Booie. In that town there lives a family with a dozen kids and a half-dozen sheep. Meet Lara’s family- the Smith’s. Will and Lara were happily married in front of 3 ponies and 350-or-so of their closest family and friends. They each had 6 in their wedding party, and about 20 of their friends arrived several days earlier to help cook the food, construct a full-scale toilet block, and fix 8 rolls of fairy lights. Did I mention Lara sewed her own dress from scratch with no pattern? If you haven’t picked up on it yet- this wedding was a big ol’ labour of love. Will and Lara met through their church community and it was clear that this shared hope was at the absolute core of their dynamic. Wishing this beautiful couple many years of happiness together <3
