Micah & Izzy

There was something salt-of-the-earth about Micah and Izzy’s wedding. With Izzy’s extended family filling every spare seat at White Hill Estate, and Micah’s family coming together in the ceremony to perform a captivating Fijian song, the day was a true family affair. Izzy and Micah’s story is just as classic. Having met at school and growing their relationship through church as well, they share many core values and experiences. The prayer at this wedding was a very special moment as the couple put their heads together in respect to what was most important to them. Fast-forward past the monolithic family photo, king’s banquet and floral decadence- to the appearance of the one of the biggest moon’s any of us had ever laid our eyes upon. We dashed to a paddock to capture the moment; producing some of my favourite images to-date. The style of Izzy and Micah’s wedding lent itself neatly to my photographic style and I was all-to-happy to set Izzy up for a few painterly pieces.
